Sandbagging a Unified Effort…

Team Rubicon volunteers gathered in Lake City last weekend for the start of sandbagging efforts as they utilized an area to the north of Lake City Medical Center to fill bags and then load them for transport to reinforce areas such as the courthouse and town’s well houses against the threat of flood.
Aiding in the efforts, Lake City high school students and school staff worked Wednesday afternoon, May 22, filling 2,500 bags for use around town.
