Henson Creek toll road is completed

Although only enough to whiten the ground, it was sufficient to swear by. The Henson Creek toll road is completed nearly to the Ocean Wave mine. Work has been actively pushed for some time, thirty to forty men being employed. Improvement is the order of the day. No less than fifty buildings are now in process of erection in various parts of town, among them several business blocks of substantial character. Col. Crummey and brothers have purchased three lots on the corner of Second Street and Gunnison Avenue and during the winter will erect thereon an opera house in which they will open a theatre in the spring. The building will be of frame, two story; the ground floor will be divided into a spacious auditorium with stage and other accessories. The second story will be wholly occupied by private boxes and parlors and will be elegantly fitted up.
