December 3 Nuptials for Attaway, Curry…

A social highlight of the fall season was last Sunday afternoon’s nuptials for long-time Lake City residents Alice Attaway, well known as Lake City area gardener and her past stage performances for Lake City Arts, and Bruce Curry, owner of Paradise Property Services. Nuptials were at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, at the gazebo in Memorial Park.
Donny Rightsell officiated at the ceremony, in his remarks recalling the lyrics of John Denver’s ‘Annie’s Song’, “Come let me love you, let me give my life to you…”
Following the brief ceremony, a wedding reception with cake cutting, and first dance by the couple, was held in the Armory.
