SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY GARDEN SCHOOL PROGRAM! There are several ways you can do this. Rent a 4’ x 8’ garden plot for $25. Payment due by May 1. Purchase a 50 gallon rain barrel; Donate toward our high tunnel hoop house so that kids can engage in gardening during the school year (Thanks to the PJWC for getting us started!). Volunteer to help supervise the kiddos during the summer months. We also need cardboard egg cartons for our seedlings! INVITATION TO BID – Hinsdale County is soliciting bids for UTE ULAY WATER STORAGE TANK REPAIR, hereafter referenced as the “Project.” The Project generally consists of Structure Rehabilitation.
The Project is located at 3.5 Miles West County Rd 20, Hinsdale County, Colorado. Bid proposals will be accepted until May 8th, 2018, at close of business. Bid opening will occur at a public meeting at the Hinsdale County, Coursey Annex, 311 N. Henson Street, at 10 a.m. on May 9th, 2018, bid award may occur on May 9, 2018 at said location. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days from the opening thereof.
A conditional bid will not be accepted. Hinsdale County reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to change, add to or amend the specifications; to waive any informalities; to accept the bid for the contract which, in its judgment, best serves the interests of Hinsdale County, and to award or not. Project completion deadline is 06/10/2018. Contract documents are available by request from the Hinsdale County Administrator.

The Lake Fork Valley Conservancy is soliciting bids to remove the existing toilet tank at the Uncompaghre trailhead on Nellie Creek. Work includes removal of the tank (4’ high, by 8’ deep, by 6’ wide) from the existing building, proper disposal of the tank and all associated human waste, and finally a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the interior of the building, both lower and upper portions. A 4WD vehicle is required. Maximum bid request is $10,000. Bids are to be received by May 11. Mail to PO Box 123, Lake City, CO 81235, or to email address below. The Lake Fork Valley Conservancy is soliciting bids to install 11 interpretive plaques along the river trail through the Town of Lake City. Work includes digging 2′ holes and hand mixing concrete on site to stabilize each pole (provided). Bids are to be received by May 4.
